Join our dynamic team at Oxford Dental as a Dental Administrator and become the vital link that keeps our office running smoothly! This is a full time position with two Saturdays a month. Experience is preferred and knowledge with Gold software would be an asset. Willing to train the right candidate.

Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures with professionalism and efficiency
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and optimize daily calendar flow using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls, and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Epic or comparable systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
- Verify insurance information, process billing, and assist with claims submissions to streamline patient payments
- Support clinical staff by managing supply inventories and coordinating patient records seamlessly
- Respond promptly to patient needs, questions, or concerns to foster a positive experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment with strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in Gold practice management software
- Solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care settings
- Previous medical or dental office experience demonstrating excellent administrative skills
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a busy front desk environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing electronic records and appointment schedules
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients, staff, and insurance providers
