Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures
- Assist dentists during dental treatments with precision and care
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient safety and image quality
- Manage patient records using dental practice management software such as Abel Dent documenting procedures accurately
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering reassurance to nervous patients
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards in all aspects of dental assisting
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Abel dent for scheduling and record management
- Dental Assistant Level 2 Certified
- HARP Certified
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry to accurately document procedures
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques combined with excellent communication skills
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
