We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our Periodontal Specialty Practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and education, ensuring that our patients maintain optimal oral health. We strive to create a positive work environment while following all IPAC, Covid, Public Health and governing college guidelines.
The position is part time for 1-2 days ASAP and does not require evenings or weekends. A current Ontario Dental Hygiene license is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapies for patients.
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and screenings.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Abedent software.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work workplace.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Experience using Abeldent or similar dental office management software is highly desirable.
- GBT trained/certificate would be considered an asset.
- Strong customer service skills to create a positive patient experience.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
