Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our wonderful dental office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This role requires proficiency in handling insurance claims and the phones,ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Duties

- Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using OpenDental
- Send out referrals to specialist offices
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Process patient payments and handle insurance verification and claims.




- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.

Skills

- Strong administrative skills with experience in a dental office environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to operate phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls.
- Robust organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
