Position OverviewFour Seasons Hotel Toronto is looking for a Café Boulud Junior Sous Chef who shares our passion for food and cooking and is willing to learn from and contribute to our culinary team. The Junior Sous Chef will be a key leader of a dynamic culinary team providing memorable culinary experiences to our guests. This position reports to the Chef de Cuisine.ResponsibilitiesAssist in leading the day-to-day operation of the Café Boulud Kitchen.Coordinate training, quality control inspections, menu creation, food safety assurance, and supervise all kitchen personnel to ensure the highest standards of food quality.Qualifications and SkillsFour to six years of operational kitchen experience with a diversity of culinary experience and a proven track record in fine dining.Supervisory and management experience is required; culinary qualificationsare essential.Solid knowledge of food, passion to develop management skills within the hotel industry, creativity and flair, ability to provide guidance to others, valuable business acumen, and a strong work ethic.Attendance for training and special events is required.BenefitsPaid time off, including vacation days, management holiday days,
