- Develop, plan and deliver original brand activations and experiential events across the Quebec region
- Negotiate, draft, monitor and implement partnership agreements
- Implement and coordinate internal and external communications strategies for maximum initiative visibility
- Draft strategic marketing briefs and collaborate with communications teams including integrated strategy and creative studio
- Design and roll out small-scale initiatives and major events aligned with marketing goals
- Plan event calendars and production schedules, coordinate event steps, scout locations and manage budgets
- Oversee partnership contests, including web and social copy, contest rules, legal approvals, prizes, promotional visibility and winner/supplier follow-up
- Assist the media relations team with drafting and distributing news releases
- Coordinate with programming and technical teams on remote broadcasts linked to community activities and partnerships
- Coordinate, train, guide and support brand ambassadors
- Evaluate activities and campaigns, conduct post-mortems and optimize results
- Manage and respond to partnership email inquiries
- Support event and cultural engagement operations as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, advertising, marketing or a related field
- Three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
- Advanced French reading, speaking and writing skills
- Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada, its mandate and its programming
- Demonstrated negotiation, planning and organizational skills
- Passion for event management and flexibility to adapt to event schedules and demands
- Leadership, self‑direction, sound judgment and initiative
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work under pressure
- Creativity in designing promotional events and brand activations
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Jira and Canva
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Good knowledge of the creative community in the Quebec region
- Experience with and solid grasp of marketing principles and brand‑building strategies
- Flexibility to work irregular hours or extended shifts as required by event schedules
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Successful completion of a practical test and interview
- May be subject to skills and knowledge testing
- Candidates advancing in the recruitment process must complete a mandatory criminal record check and other applicable background checks
