We are a growing clinic dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging with a focus on obstetrical ultrasound. Your expertise will support obstetricians and healthcare providers; our fetal ultrasounds are read by Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists (MFM), providing a unique learning opportunity for Sonographers interested in this specialty. As a key member of our ultrasound team, you will play a vital role in performing and interpreting a range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, small parts, gynecological & MSK exams.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound training program
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- NT certification is highly preferred
- Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
- Experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Proficiency in performing abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and small parts exams

Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of the fetus, uterus, ovaries,
and surrounding structures during obstetric examinations
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and addressing any concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Accurately document imaging findings, maintain detailed patient records, and ensure images are properly labeled for review by physicians
- Collaborate closely with obstetricians, radiologists, and healthcare team members to interpret results and assist in diagnosis
- Follow established protocols for infection control, patient safety, and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal imaging quality
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and obstetric imaging techniques through ongoing education
- Adhere strictly to medical terminology standards to communicate findings clearly and effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with a focus on Obstetrics or fetal imaging
- Certification from an accredited sonography or ultrasound program is required; additional certification in obstetric sonography is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to obstetrics and fetal development
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care and support during sensitive examinations
- Ability to operate various ultrasound equipment models with precision and confidence
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing patient data and imaging records
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed to accommodate patient schedules
