The Candidate:
The position we are hiring for is specifically for our Assisted Living/Memory Care floor.
The successful applicant for the server position will be a team player who plays an integral role in supporting the health care team in the Dining Room. They will take pride in a job well done and be able to multitask. They will enjoy working with seniors and look forward to interactions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete departmental cleaning and ware washing as required.
- Be knowledgeable of and practice the residence's fire and safety programs.
- Serve food to residents observing special diet restrictions, resident preferences and outlined departmental procedures.
- Clear tables, load and safely operate dishwasher. Complete manual ware washing as required
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Familiar with WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety, Sanitation Code.
- Willingness and ability to learn.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand and walk short distances throughout the day and to tolerate heat from kitchen area.
