OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and certified Class A Pressure Welder / Journeyman CWB Welder to join our manufacturing and construction team. This role involves performing precision welding and fabrication tasks in a variety of industrial settings, including ductwork, piping, and structural components. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise and craftsmanship.ResponsibilitiesExecute pressure welding using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques according to blueprints and schematicsRead and interpret detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for fabrication and assembly processesOperate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficientlyPerform rigging tasks including lifting, positioning, and securing materials with cranes or forklifts as neededConduct machining operations such as using calipers for measurements or operating machining tools for component fabricationAssist in assembly of components by following detailed schematics and technical instructionsPerform maintenance on welding equipment and ensure all tools are calibrated and functioning properlyMaintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations and company policiesCollaborate with team members on complex projects involving ductwork, piping systems, or structural steelSkillsCertified Journeyman CWB Welder with Class A Pressure Welding certificationProficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and general welding techniquesStrong mechanical knowledge with experience in rigging, machining, assembly, and blueprint readingSkilled in operating cranes, forklifts, press brake machines, power tools, hand tools, and schematics interpretationAbility to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into precise fabrication workKnowledge of manufacturing processes related to ductwork, construction projects, or piping systemsBasic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasksFamiliarity with schematics for electrical or mechanical systems is a plusAbility to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standardsThis role requires a dedicated skilled committed to quality craftsmanship with the ability to adapt to various project requirements.
