We are EVERSANA.Job DescriptionTHE POSITION:To support a wide range of strategy, research, analytics, and/or value communications projects and the management of project activities, other team members, and clients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Liaise with project stakeholders as required- Conduct structured or systematic searches of medical literature- Critically review, interpret, and synthesize medical literature- Develop drafts of publications (eg, manuscripts, abstracts, posters)- Develop draft reports (eg, technical) and slide decks- Liaise with key opinion leaders (eg, clinicians, health economists)- Review, edit, and format draft documents- Perform quality assurance on written materials- Develop drafts of product dossiers, value messages, marketing and sales materials, clinical summaries, and objection handlers- Provide copyediting and formatting support on final documents- Support preparation of slides for project‑related meetings/calls- Attend,
participate in and possibly lead project meetings- Support preparation of written client communications- May supervise and/or train junior staff and help set project scope, timelines, and/or strategy- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviours, and proactively managing bias.- All other duties as assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:- Travel: Some travel may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off‑site personnel/management- Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week- Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlinesThe above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the expectations of the position and shall not be construed as the only expectations that may be assigned for the position.An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the expectations listed above.QualificationsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.- Education: MSc or PhD degree in a medical- or mathematics-related field such as biology, epidemiology, pharmacology, health economics, or statistics- Experience and/or Training: - Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a medical/scientific writer- Strong attention to detail- Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills- Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem‑solving, and multitasking capabilities- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with peers, senior management,
and clients- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a sometimes high‑pressure environment- Ability to adapt to shifting internal and client-related priorities/timelines- Technology/Equipment - Technically competent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Technology/Equipment: - Proficiency with EndNote is an assetPHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING SETTING:The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.Additional InformationEVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $87,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of Canada. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job‑related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
