Niagara College invites applications for a Part time Professor in Welding, based at the Welland campus. This role involves hands-on teaching and fostering an inclusive learning experience for students.
As part of the School of Trades, the professor will report to the Associate Dean. Applicants must hold a Certificate of Qualification in Welding (456A or 308A) with five years of relevant experience in the field. Candidates will also need to display proficiency in teaching practices and technology integration alongside the ability to address the needs of diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead in-person welding courses for students
• Foster a welcoming and supportive classroom environment
• Effectively implement technology in teaching




• Evaluate and provide feedback on student work
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance learning experiences
Requirements:
• Certificate of Qualification (456A or 308A) in Welding
• Minimum five years of professional experience required
• Proven teaching and learning knowledge
• Ability to engage with diverse student demographics
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
