As Associate Director, Actuarial, Pricing & Special Projects within Financial and Actuarial Services, U.S. Life Insurance, you’ll play a key role in the performance and profitable growth of our U.S. life insurance business, all while elevating your team’s work practices.

What You’ll Accomplish With Us As Associate Director of Actuarial, Pricing & Special Projects, you’ll be at the heart of our mission.
Here are your key responsibilities:
Oversee pricing, support product development, and lead the management of reinsurance agreements
- Work closely with our business partners and provide tailored, value-added support
- Support informed decision-making that promotes long-term, sustainable profitability for the organization
- Ensure the robustness and integrity of actuarial models
Contribute to the sector’s acquisition projects and strategic initiatives
- Serve as a business partner and advisor in evaluation and decision-making
Lead the implementation of business initiatives within our team
- Ensure the delivery of expected results and the creation of value for the organization
- Provide inspiring leadership in multidisciplinary projects
Develop and build a high-performing team
- Lead and engage team members to meet the business needs of the sector;
- Ensure that the team’s practices are aligned with and consistent with the best practices established by the CFO sector team
- Foster skill development and talent advancement
What Could Help You Succeed In This Role We are looking for someone who:
- Demonstrates strong skills in team supervision, planning, organization, and prioritization;
- Has relevant experience in individual insurance and a good understanding of the U.S. market (or the ability to quickly acquire that understanding);
- Demonstrates excellent skills in developing and maintaining effective working relationships while collaborating with various stakeholders;
- Shows initiative and proactivity in identifying and understanding business challenges, with a desire to make an impact;
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and the F.I.C.A. designation;
- Intermediate proficiency in French is a plus, as the candidate will collaborate daily with our French-speaking business partners.
