Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen utensils, cookware, dishes, and workstations through thorough washing and sanitizing procedures
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items to support chefs and cooks
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices to meet safety standards and prevent contamination
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing dishwashing duties and prep tasks
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to uphold a protected working environment for all staff
- Keep the kitchen organized by managing supply inventories and notifying supervisors of stock needs

Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
