Duties

- Ensure all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, portioning ingredients, and organizing supplies to support chefs and cooks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and organizing storage spaces regularly.
- Support the culinary team during busy service times by providing timely assistance with food prep and station setup.
- Follow food handling safety protocols diligently to ensure the health and safety of all team members and guests.
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs or shortages.




- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and adhering to all restaurant policies.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety regulations.
- Experience with basic food preparation techniques such as chopping, slicing, or portioning ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality and customer service.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food prep is a plus.
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
