Duties

- Ensure all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies to support chefs and cooks.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by organizing supplies and ensuring timely food prep.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety and hygiene standards at all times.




- Help with waste disposal and recycling efforts to keep the kitchen environment safe and environmentally friendly.
- Assist in setting up workstations for upcoming shifts or special events as needed.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols and food safety regulations within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred; familiarity with food preparation and handling is a plus.
