Duties

- Thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by organizing supplies and ensuring smooth workflow
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Help with receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately




- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used safely according to health regulations

Experience

- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Solid understanding of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, food prep, and restaurant operations
