Duties

- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are sanitized according to health standards
- Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff
- Support the kitchen team by handling food prep areas during busy service times when needed
- Follow safety protocols related to food handling and cleaning supplies to ensure a safe work environment




- Collaborate with restaurant or hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety regulations
- Prior experience with food preparation or cooking is a plus but not mandatory
