Duties

- Thoroughly wash dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are sanitized and stored properly after cleaning.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness in dishwashing areas, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces.
- Support food preparation activities by handling food handling tasks as directed while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service periods.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.




- Restock dishwashing supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in food service settings.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with kitchen safety protocols is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Experience with food handling or food service operations is advantageous but not essential.
