- Pay Rate: $33.00/hour, depending on experience

- Location: Calgary, Alberta – In Office 5 Days per Week

Raise is currently hiring a Document Controller on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to support major development and construction projects across Canada and the U.S., making this a unique chance to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is a Liquids Pipelines Company operating with more than 4,000 kilometers of crude oil pipelines in North America providing low-risk, liquids transportation and storage business, safely moving oil between some of the world’s most critical markets Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description The Document Controller will provide comprehensive document management and project support for Canadian and U.S. development projects. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project repositories, coordinating document reviews, managing SharePoint sites and permissions, supporting internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring project documentation is properly organized throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, contractors, vendors, inspectors, construction managers, supply chain, and legal teams to facilitate document control, collaboration, reviews, turnover, records retention, and repository closure activities.

What You’ll Do

- Project Repository Management: Create and maintain project repositories and SharePoint sites for Canadian and U.S. development projects, including setup, deployment, permissions, and access management.
- Document Control & Reviews: Coordinate internal and external document reviews, RFIs, MOCs, CTRs, DCNs, NCRs, deliverable reviews, drawings, and project documentation.
- Stakeholder Support:



Provide training and ongoing support to internal project teams, contractors, vendors, inspectors, construction managers, and field administrators.
- External Collaboration: Establish contractor and supplier collaboration portals, manage permissions, and support vendor and contractor document integration.
- Supply Chain Support: Create and maintain RFP libraries, bidder areas, and related document repositories for Canadian and U.S. projects.
- Project Turnover: Coordinate progressive and final turnover of project deliverables, including migration of completed documentation into the Records Hub and preparation of the Final Master Document List (MDL).
- Records & Legacy Management: Support legacy document inquiries, repository closures, site migrations, reclamation, cleanup, and records retention activities.
- Legal & Project Support: Assist project and legal teams with document-related inquiries and provide ongoing administrative and document control support.

Qualifications

- Experience in document control, project administration, records management, or a related project support role.
- Strong experience managing SharePoint sites, project repositories, document libraries, permissions, and external collaboration portals.
- Experience supporting construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy, or other complex project environments is an asset.
- Strong understanding of document control processes, including RFIs, MOCs, NCRs, DCNs, deliverable reviews, drawings, and project turnover.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.




- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and document workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Nice to haves
- Experience supporting Canadian and U.S. development or construction projects.
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers, vendors, and field teams.
- Knowledge of records retention and document archiving processes.
- Experience with project turnover, legacy site migration, and document repository closure.
- Experience supporting Supply Chain, Legal, Construction, or Project Management teams.
