We are looking for an experienced, passionate Dog Groomer to join our growing team and help keep our pack looking and feeling their best!

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer who excels at breed-standard and custom styling, handles dogs with patience and gentle care, and maintains a clean, safe workspace. You will manage our grooming station, work closely with our daycare and front-desk teams, and provide top-tier pampering to local pups.

Responsibilities

- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards or customer preferences
- Assess each dog’s coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by handling them gently and securely
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly




- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide care recommendations
- Assist with heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier dogs to ensure safe lifting practices
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, scheduling appointments, and fostering positive relationships

Experience

- Proven experience as a professional Dog Groomer (portfolio or reference photos of work required).
- Formal certification from a recognized grooming school is a strong asset.
- Pet CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Deep understanding of canine behavior, safe handling techniques, and various coat types.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
