In this vital role, you will assist professional groomers by preparing dogs for grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Your energetic approach and dedication will contribute to a welcoming environment that keeps both pets and their owners happy and confident.

Responsibilities

- Safely handle and secure dogs of various sizes, ensuring their comfort during bathing and drying procedures
- Assist groomers by bathing, drying and brushing according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to promote a hygienic environment
- Monitor dogs during bathing for signs of distress or health issues, reporting concerns promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming preferences
- Assist with heavy lifting when moving large or heavy dogs or equipment safely and efficiently




- Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of pets, staff, and yourself at all times

- Ability to handle animals gently yet confidently, respecting their individual temperaments
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout the shift
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough bathing and grooming preparation
- Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and pet owners
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a lively and positive attitude
- Basic understanding of pet health and safety practices is a plus
