We are currently looking for a Drafting Technician at Penner Farm Services, a subsidiary of Agrihub Inc., for its Blumenort, Manitoba office. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The Drafting Technician is responsible for preparing accurate, high‑quality preliminary drawings as well as preliminary shop drawings using computer‑aided design and drafting software. This role supports agricultural projects and requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with the project team. The Drafting Technician ensures preliminary drawings meet applicable industry standards while contributing to efficient project delivery.

What you'll do:

- Prepare preliminary drawings in accordance with company standards and best practices.
- Develop conceptual and detailed 3D models using Revit
- Collaborate closely with team members throughout the preliminary phase of the design process to ensure alignment with client goals.




- Manage multiple drafting assignments simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines
- Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with internal team members and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and version control in accordance with company protocols.
- Assist with quality control by reviewing drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

What you'll need:

- Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent education/experience
- Proficiency in Revit
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high‑quality work
- Familiarity with Twinmotion or similar 3D rendering software
- Knowledge of the National Building Code (NBC) is an asset
