Littco Enterprises, is seeking a agile and experienced individual to fulfill the valuable dual role of Driver and Safety Officer. This combined position requires a candidate with strong communication and leadership skills, who can balance both on-site and in-house office duties. A dedication and passion to upholding a high level of safety practices is a must. Demonstrate strong written and oral skills, professionalism, reliability, and a positive workplace presence.
Driver Job duties: (include but are not limited to)
- On-site clean-up
- Warehouse maintenance and organization
- Deliveries and pick-ups (materials and equipment/tools)
- Load and unload materials from truck
- Site safety inspections, record keeping, monthly JOHS meetings
- Tool tracking
- Ordering materials, following office procedures, completing POs
-Some site coordination Safety Officer Duties: (training available)
- Liaising with office staff and on-site crews
- Leading monthly safety meetings
- Maintaining safety records and filing, both written and electronic
- Coordinating company safety policies in compliance with COR safety standards
- Partake in yearly external and (3yr) internal safety audits
- Liaise with Cor Safety officers when necessary
-Provide guidance on provincial safety regulations
Skills
- Computer competency. Outlook, Excel, Word
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Must be physically fit. Heavy lifting required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to receive feedback and team mentality
- Drywall/construction experience, combined with a background in safety is preferred
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a safe driving record
- Criminal record check
-First Aid -Safety experience
