Kildare Renovations is a residential renovation company based in St. John’s, NL. We work on residential renovation projects throughout St. John’s and surrounding areas.

Our team includes carpenters, painters, and other renovation workers. We are looking for a reliable Driver & Helper to support our crews with material pickups, deliveries, transportation between job sites, and general labour.

Responsibilities

- Drive the company vehicle to transport materials, tools, and equipment between job sites, suppliers, storage locations, and the office.
- Pick up materials and supplies from suppliers as required. Basic knowledge of building materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, with the ability to identify and check materials before delivery that they match what was ordered, including type, quantity, size, and other relevant details.
- Help carpenters, painters, and other trades with general labour duties on job sites.
- Assist with moving, carrying, loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment on site.
- Help with site preparation, clean-up, garbage removal, and other general labour tasks as required.




- Take care of company tools and equipment used by carpenters, painters, and other workers. Make sure tools and equipment are returned, organized, and stored properly.
- Keep storage areas organized and monitor materials, tools, and equipment stored there.
- Take care of the company vehicle and keep it clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Maintain vehicle trip, mileage, fuel, and service journals and report any vehicle issues or maintenance requirements.
- Follow daily schedules, instructions, and tasks provided by the Project Manager, foreman, or site leader.
- Follow Kildare Renovations’ safety rules and procedures and use required PPE.
- Perform other driving, delivery, material handling, and general labour duties as required.

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
