We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Driver Manager / Dispatcher to join our logistics team. Responsibilities

- Manage and dispatch drivers efficiently using transportation management systems to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations
- Coordinate freight pickups, deliveries, and shipping & receiving activities with accuracy and timeliness
- Utilize data entry skills to update and maintain shipping records, driver logs, and related documentation in systems like AS400 and SyteLine
- Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for route optimization, cost savings, and improved service levels
- Communicate clearly with drivers, warehouse staff, carriers, and customers via multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Monitor driver performance, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to company policies through analysis skills and regular reporting




- Support supply chain operations by collaborating with 3PL providers and managing shipping schedules in coordination with warehouse activities

Skills

- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), AS400, and SyteLine for effective dispatching and data management
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, freight management, and shipping & receiving procedures
- Excellent communication skills coupled with skilled phone etiquette for clear stakeholder interaction
- Data entry accuracy combined with analysis skills to interpret transportation metrics and improve operations
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) partnerships to enhance delivery efficiency
- Familiarity with shipping documentation, freight regulations, and safety compliance standards
