Storekeeper – Operations Centre (Permanent, Full‑Time)Based in the Finance and Corporate Services Division at West Vancouver, this role focuses on storekeeping duties with an emphasis on customer service, accountability, and improving departmental efficiencies.ResponsibilitiesMaintain appropriate stock levels for critical supplies and materials for multiple client groups.Maintain an Inventory Management System.Sourcing supplies and equipment for various departments with an emphasis on construction, automotive, and heavy equipment.Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier files.Create Purchase Orders and monitor the complete purchasing cycle.Perform regular inventory counts and maintain effective inventory control and security procedures.Locate stock and forward to the customer.Provide information to staff regarding stock on hand, pricing,



and requisition procedures.Keep and maintain accurate WHMIS records.Perform other related duties as needed.Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated ability to work in a team workplace with a commitment to continuous improvement.Effective organizational and time‑management skills.General knowledge of the construction, automotive, and heavy equipment industries.3 years or more of inventory control and purchasing experience.Familiarity working with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP software.Ability to operate a forklift, front‑end loader, pallet jack, and electric pallet jack (training provided).Courses related to inventory control, logistics, purchasing, equipment maintenance or construction management, and enrolment in SCMP, CSCL or equivalent programs considered an asset.Position DetailsPosition Status: WVMEA (Union) – Permanent, Full‑time.Hours: 40 hours per week (hours and days may vary).Rate of Pay: $32.75 per hour (2025 rates).Closing Date: 11:59 p.M. on Sunday, June 14, 2026.#J-18808-Ljbffr
