About the RoleIn FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, we focus on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial, and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.What You’ll DoThe Senior Consultant will work with clients in domestic and multinational companies across various and diverse industries.Some of the job responsibilities will include:Oversee the day‑to‑day financial activities of restructuring and/or transactions advisory engagementsApply business, accounting, finance and analysis skills to various client situations and practice disciplinesReview financial statements and perform quality of earnings/cash flow analysisPrepare and/or review complex financial projections to model business processes and/or transactionsAssess business plans, cash flows, and analyze large amounts of data associated with restructuring plansConduct financial due diligence and financial analysis of clients and potential target companiesUnderstand all aspects of the client’s business including review of operational and financial performanceDraft written reports and/or presentations on the project scope, findings and/or results of activitiesWork with the client’s senior management, restructuring/legal/finance experts on work engagementsManage the engagement team and provide coaching to junior team membersHow You’ll GrowWe are committed to investing and supporting you in your career development. You’ll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions, and will receive tailored programs for critical professional milestones throughout your career at FTI Consulting.What You Will Need To SucceedBasic QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in accounting, economics, or financeMinimum of 3 years of relevant post‑graduate experienceUnderstanding of financial statements and corporate functionsAdvanced Excel modelling and PowerPoint skillsAbility to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed up to 60%Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full‑time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsCPA, CFA or MBA preferredRelevant experience in a professional services firm (public accounting, consulting, etc.)Advanced problem‑solving and issue resolution skillsProfessional verbal and written communications, including report writingStrong interest in finance and working in a professional services environmentAbility and willingness to learn and adapt in an ever‑changing environment to meet client needsCompensationMinimum Pay: $92,000 - Maximum Pay: $142,000.
