About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Senior Sports Event Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Kimberley . This role is crucial for the successful planning, execution, and management of a variety of sports events, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding experiences for participants and spectators. You will be involved in all stages of event management, from logistical planning and vendor coordination to on-site execution and post-event reporting. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage all logistical aspects of assigned sports events, ensuring timely execution.
- Liaise with event stakeholders, including venues, vendors, sponsors, and sports federations.
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor adherence.
- Oversee in office event operations, including setup, participant registration, and day-of activities.
- Manage event staff, volunteers, and external contractors to ensure smooth operations.




- Conduct post-event analysis, including financial reconciliation and performance reporting.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event coordination , preferably within the sports industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Experience with budget management, vendor negotiation, and logistical planning.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
