We’re on the lookout for a reliable and motivated DZ Driver to join our logistics team. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including trucks with a DZ license, to deliver freight safely and on time.
- Load and unload cargo using electric walker or pump truck or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before trips.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or delays.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations,
and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting vehicle issues to minimize downtime.
- Support warehouse operations by organizing freight, managing inventory, and ensuring proper storage practices.
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in transportation.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating deliveries and reporting issues clearly.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
