E-Commerce Merchandiser & Performance Marketer.
Own how product shows up - and what drives the sale - across our consumer storefronts.
THE ROLE
You'll own the product side of our consumer experience - our direct-to-consumer storefronts. The heart of the role is developing the stories within our inventory: what to feature, why now - then executing them on the consumer side so the product we push is relevant, complete, scheduled, and driving sales. You'll also own the demand side: paid media, email automation, and a modern martech stack.
And as our sharpest read on digital performance, you'll lend that expertise to analysis and optimization across all our platforms - wholesale included.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Merchandising & Content
- Present inventory cleanly and completely - accurate product data, imagery, and collections across our DTC storefronts.
- Bridge inventory and storefront - surface the right product at the right time and schedule launches, drops, and seasonal transitions.
- Keep the most relevant, in-stock, on-theme product front and centre; merchandise category and collection pages to convert.
- Develop the stories within our inventory - what to feature and why now - and brief our creative team to build them.
Demand & Performance
- Build and optimize lifecycle email in Klaviyo - welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase, win-back.
- Run and optimize paid media - Meta, Google, and paid social - against ROAS and CAC targets.
- Analyze performance across all our platforms - consumer and wholesale - and drive the optimization it points to.
- Turn the sell-through read into what we push next - including the highlights our wholesale team should lead with.
Work with AI We expect this person to be confident and competent using AI tools to make the role efficient - product copy, creative and audience iteration, analysis, and reporting. The goal is more output, faster, at a higher standard.
WHAT YOU BRING The person we're looking for.
- 3-5+ years in e-commerce merchandising,
digital marketing, or a blended DTC role.
- Hands-on Shopify - merchandising, collections, product data, and theme content.
- Klaviyo (or a comparable ESP) and a modern marketing-tech stack.
- Hands-on paid media - Meta, Google, and paid social - plus lifecycle email; you own demand, not just presentation.
- A robust eye for product presentation, plus comfort with analytics (GA4, Shopify).
- Confident, competent using AI tools in day-to-day work.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
A serious advantage
Not required — but any of these would set you apart from other applicants:
- Experience scaling a DTC brand from an early stage.
- Conversion-rate optimization or in office A/B testing experience.
- Apparel, fashion, or premium-brand experience.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems (Sage 300 an asset).
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE - YEAR ONE
- Our storefronts are cleaner, more complete, and convert better than they do today.
- You're driving real, growing traffic to our consumer storefronts.
- You can point to the sales you moved - and the merchandising and campaigns that moved them.
