Powered by modern digital tools and a collaborative team culture, we empower educators to focus on what matters most: making a meaningful impact on young learners.

- Help serve nutritious meals and snacks, feed infants/toddlers, and supervise mealtime to ensure proper table manners and safety (monitoring for choking hazards and allergies).

Program Execution & Activity Support

- Prepare learning materials, art supplies, dramatic play stations, and outdoor toys as directed by the lead RECE.

- Provide extra one-on-one attention to children who need extra help during transitions, activities, or emotional distress.

Health,

Safety & Classroom Maintenance

- Clean, sanitize, and disinfect toys, activity tables, chairs, change stations, and food prep areas according to Public Health guidelines.
- Perform daily health checks on arrival, report any signs of child illness, fever, or unusual behavior to the RECE or Supervisor, and record attendance accurately.
- Inspect indoor play areas and outdoor playgrounds for safety hazards before children enter the space.

Communication & Team Collaboration

- Take direction from and work collaboratively with the RECEs, Daycare Supervisor, and Manager.
- Greet parents warmly during morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups, relaying routine messages or directing detailed developmental questions to the lead RECE.
- Assist in recording basic daily details (such as nap times, meal consumption, and diaper changes) on childcare management apps (e.g., Lillio/HiMama) or physical charts.

Health and Safety

- Work in strict compliance with the provisions of the OHSA, its regulations, and all internal workplace health and safety policies.

- Completion of an Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) Certificate or Diploma program from a recognized vocational college or community college is preferred.
- Practical experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
- Minimum of 300+ hours of practical experience in a licensed childcare setting (often completed during an ECA diploma practicum placement) is preferred
- Warm,
