Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. This role involves working closely with children, including those with disabilities, to create engaging educational experiences that promote growth and development.

The Senior

Educator will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and collaborating with families to support each child's learning journey.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Provide individualized support to children, particularly those with special education needs or disabilities.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Mentor and guide junior educators, providing leadership and support in classroom management and instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and communications with families.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Employ strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities,



schedules, and resources efficiently.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through professional development opportunities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, families, and staff.
- Proficient computer skills for classroom management software and educational tools.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide and inspire fellow educators.
- Solid time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
- A passion for teaching and nurturing the development of young learners.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $17.00-$27.12 per hour
