Healthy Heart Centre, a multi-location cardiology clinic serving the Greater Toronto Area, is seeking a qualified Echocardiographer/Sonographer to join our team. This role combines pediatric/neonatal echocardiography with general adult echocardiography (resting and stress), offering the flexibility of a part-time or full time schedule depending on caseload and availability.

About the Role

As we expand our echocardiography services to include neonatal and pediatric patients, we're looking for a skilled sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic studies across both pediatric and adult populations. Pediatric and adult patients would typically be scheduled on separate days, allowing for focused, specialized care in each area.

Responsibilities

- Perform pediatric/neonatal and adult echocardiograms (resting and stress) using appropriate probes and protocols
- Ensure accurate measurements and comprehensive imaging in accordance with clinical standards
- Communicate promptly with the on-site physician regarding any unusual or urgent findings
- Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, including with parents/guardians present for pediatric cases
- Accurately document studies within our clinical reporting system




- Manage appointment scheduling and workflow efficiently as caseload grows

Requirements

- CMRITO certification required
- Prior hands-on experience performing pediatric echocardiography/sonography is required
- Prior hands-on experience performing adult resting and stress echocardiography is required
- Strong communication skills for working with patients of all ages, families, and referring physicians
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-site clinical team
- Familiarity with standard ECG and imaging equipment
