Position: Educational Assistant

CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to work with elementary students in Williams Lake, BC, in a home education context. This position is in person for 16 hours per week.

Qualifications:

- Candidates need to have valuable interpersonal, communication and organization skills and work independently.
- The candidate needs to be able to be kind, firm and set reasonable boundaries and stick to them.
- Preferences given to candidates with computer skills (Brightspace or willing to learn), Special Education or Tutoring experience.




- Experience working with children shall be considered an asset.
- Must reside in Williams Lake, BC area or within a 30 minute driving distance

Ideal for: College students, youth group leaders, Sunday School Teachers.
