Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our production team at our facility in South Surrey, BC.

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for wiring, cabling, terminating, and completing the electrical assembly of switchboards, control panels, and power distribution equipment according to electrical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, good hands-on ability, and an interest in electrical equipment manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

· Read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications, and work orders

· Install and route control wiring and power cabling

· Cut, strip, label, crimp, and terminate wires and cables

· Complete point-to-point wiring according to electrical drawings

· Connect breakers, switches, meters, relays, controllers, terminal blocks, and other electrical components

· Install wire duct, DIN rail components, terminal blocks, and related electrical hardware

· Ensure wiring is neat, properly supported, labelled, and completed to Foxfab quality standards

· Verify wiring and terminations against drawings before equipment testing

· Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing as required

· Assist with troubleshooting wiring or assembly discrepancies

· Complete required production and quality documentation

· Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards

· Maintain a clean, organized,



and protected work area

· Assist with other production duties as required

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Basic understanding of electrical components, wiring, or electrical systems

· Previous experience in electrical assembly, control panel wiring, manufacturing, automotive wiring, industrial electrical work, or a related environment preferred

· Comfortable using hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, torque tools, and electrical assembly tools

· Ability to read basic electrical drawings or willingness to learn

· Strong attention to detail and workmanship

· Strong work ethic and reliability

· Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience assembling switchboards, switchgear, control panels, ATS equipment, UPS equipment, or industrial electrical equipment is considered a strong asset.

Compensation

$20.00–$25.00 per hour depending on experience
