In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing electrical project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers. Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope of work using industry-standard estimating software.
- Collaborate with project teams to review design documents, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and ensure estimates align with project budgets.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals, including pricing for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in project management tasks by tracking costs, updating estimates during project execution, and supporting change order processes.
- Conduct site visits when necessary to gather accurate data and assess site-specific requirements.




- Maintain organized records of all estimating documents, correspondence, and revisions for transparency and future reference.

Skills

- Take off for traffic Signal, Streetlighting, Pump Stations, industrial projects.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Accubid; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems within commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Excellent project management abilities to coordinate multiple estimates simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Construction experience that provides insight into installation processes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and the ability to analyze bids critically for accuracy and competitiveness.
