Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Electrical Estimator to join our team. This position supports the estimating and operations departments by coordinating tender documents, preparing estimates, communicating with suppliers, and assisting with administrative and project-related tasks.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment, and has experience or interest in electrical contracting and estimating.

Responsibilities

- Assist with preparation of electrical estimates and tender submissions with senior project estimator.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications
- Request and organize supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Maintain bid schedules and tender tracking logs
- Prepare and organize project documentation and bid packages
- Coordinate with estimators, project managers, and field staff
- Assist with change orders, quotations, and project costing
- Manage electronic filing systems and project records
- Support day-to-day office and administrative operations
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and contractors





Qualifications
- Experience in electrical estimating, construction administration, or electrical contracting preferred
- Knowledge of electrical materials and construction practices considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with BlueBeam
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
