Due to the needs of our current project in Thunder Bay, Ontario, we are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our in office construction team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and related construction work on site
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Install wiring, cables, conduits, electrical panels, switches, receptacles, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
- Perform electrical connections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs as required
- Complete rough-in, installation, finishing, and other electrical work according to the construction schedule
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and other trades to ensure efficient project execution
- Identify and resolve electrical issues encountered during construction
- Ensure all electrical work meets project drawings, applicable codes, specifications, and inspection requirements
- Follow all company and site-specific health and safety policies and procedures
- Properly operate and maintain electrical tools and equipment
- Perform other electrical and construction-related duties as required

Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an electrician in the construction industry
- Experience with commercial or large-scale construction projects is preferred




- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and construction documents
- Good knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, installation methods, and construction procedures
- Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and applicable regulations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned work according to project schedules
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to workplace and construction site safety
- Valid Working at Heights and other applicable safety training certificates are preferred
- Valid Ontario electrical licence or relevant electrical certification is preferred
- Must be available to work full-time on site in Thunder Bay, Ontario
