Electrician 442a - Industrial Familiarity Required.

We are currently looking for a Licensed Electrician with 10 years of experience.

This opportunity is straight days with the availability of overtime.

BWM is currently looking for a positive team member with the following skills:

- Routine repair and maintenance in a industrial environment. Manufacturing equipment and systems including lathes and mills, fabrication equipment, etc.
- Retro-fit of machine tools including mills, lathes, and multi-axis mill/turns.
- Electrical installation of current equipment including power drops, panel builds, coordinating with ESA,



upgrading equipment manufactured to foreign electrical standards, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code along with related schematics and symbols.
- Experience with servo motors and controls, frequency drives, sensors, AC and DC motors, etc. and how they relate to electrical systems.
- Understanding of PLCs and basic programming skills.
- Familiarity with mechanical principles such as pneumatics and hydraulics and troubleshooting those systems.
- Strong troubleshooting ability for equipment, able to trace issues back to cause and effect repairs.
- Comfortable with the use of computers and software to assist with daily activities.
- Team based mentality and able to assist with training of apprentices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.34-$45.28 per hour

- 309 or 442a Licence (preferred)
