An established manufacture of pressure and temperature sensors has an immediate opening for an assembly technician.
We are seeking an electronics assembly technician to perform electromechanical product assembly of sensor products. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, precise and a fast learner. Pay is commensurate with experience and performance.
Duties:
· Manual assembly of electronic and mechanical devices according to assembly instructions, customer specifications and quality standards.
· Hand soldering of lead wires and pins to circuit boards.
· Prepare completed assemblies for calibration by installing on test fixtures.
· Perform testing and inspection using measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment,
to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
· Complete final mechanical assembly of product and prepare for packaging.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of electronic hand soldering, SMD and/or rework experience
- Previous certification in IPC-A-610, IPC 7711/7721 or J-STD-001 is preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valuable communication skills in English – written and oral
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Graduate from Electronics program and/or equivalent experience.
