As a bilingual Citizen Services Officer, you will work directly with Canadians, using your judgement, communication, client focus, and information gathering skills to make a real difference in their lives.

Your duties will include the following:

Answering questions and providing guidance on programs and services in both official languages, English and French.

Conducting fact‑finding with clients, assessing and deciding on which service offerings and/or information to provide, referring clients to specialists if necessary.

Encouraging clients to use electronic service channels and helping them do so.

Verifying and authenticating client identity and/or supporting documentation, processing fees for service and other payments, and generating certificates, permits and similar documents for other service offerings within established guidelines.





Receiving, screening and forwarding applications and supporting documentation and explaining where and how the client can follow‑up on the status of their requests.

Administering oaths, and taking and receiving affidavits, declarations and affirmations.

Travelling to offer regular or occasional outreach to remote locations.
