This is a hybrid role ideal for someone with a strong background in Salesforce development and experience in multiple orgs administration. The individual must have recent hands‑on implementation experience and will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Salesforce CoE. Experience with industry solutions like Manufacturing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud Next would be an additional benefit.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders and the Business Transformation leader to capture requirements and convert those requirements into Salesforce solutionsCollaborate with the external SI to ensure the solutions being implemented are sound, expandable and supportable in the long runCreate custom objects, fields, workflow and validation rules, list views and page layouts according to user requirementsCreate declarative flows and screen flows for end‑user needsAssist in the creation of organization‑wide protocols for proper use of SalesforceWork with internal/external team(s) to maintain integrations with on‑site and cloud‑based platformsMaintain system security including sharing rules,
role hierarchies and field‑level securityEnsure that all Salesforce changes implemented follow Celestica internal processesEstablish and enforce Salesforce development standards and best practicesStay abreast of Salesforce releases and emerging technologies and work with vendors to troubleshoot and apply current features, upgrades and patchesDesign, implement, and manage Salesforce solutions, including customizations, integrations, and data migrations once the initial deployment is completed by an external SIPerform routine administrative tasks such as user set‑ups, maintenance of user roles, security and profiles in SalesforceMonitor and report on issues, system configuration and maintenance processesCreate and maintain reports and dashboards according to user and project requirementsCreate and maintain standard operating proceduresQualificationsMinimum of Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Administrator certificationsSalesforce Platform Developer 2 certification is a strong plusUnderstanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and development tools (Apex, Aura Components, SOQL, Lightning Web Components)Proficiency in declarative automation tools (Flow Builder, Lightning App Builder, etc.)Experience with DevOps processes (e.G., Agile) and tools such as Azure DevOps, Gearset, etc.Strong analytical, problem‑solving,
and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive and results‑oriented mindsetExperience with Manufacturing Cloud and/or CRM Analytics is a strong plusPhysical DemandsDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
