Status: Current Opening Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 Senior Estimator

Overview Seeking a senior estimator to support the estimating team on commercial construction projects, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight of complex bids.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of estimating experience, ideally with window wall, curtain wall, railings, and/or metal cladding .
- Solid knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and mentor estimators while helping manage workload, priorities, and schedules.
- Oversee detailed estimates for projects of varying size and complexity.
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes, risks, exclusions, and assumptions.




- Act as a technical resource on complex or high-value bids.
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and value engineering.
- Support the transition from estimating to project execution.
- Improve estimating processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Maintain estimating databases, assemblies, and historical cost information.
- Provide coaching, training, and feedback to junior estimators.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel to client meetings and project sites as required.
