Overview

With school season starting We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to round out our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food service and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role involves both serving customers and handling cashier responsibilities, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

Ideally the candidate is available five nights a week has a bubbly and outgoing personality. Goes above and beyond for the customer and has experience with balancing a till.

Duties

- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Micros POS system for order entry.
- Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail in presentation.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen, following sanitation protocols.




- Assist in training new staff members on food preparation, service techniques, and POS operations.

Skills

- Proven experience in the food industry with a strong background in restaurant operations.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for productive order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
