We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in heavy equipment operation, including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other machinery essential for large-scale construction projects. This role involves operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction activities such as excavation, grading, paving, and site preparation. .

Responsibilities

- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving equipment with precision and safety.
- Perform site excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling tasks according to project specifications.




- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling.
- Work with pipe crews, grade crews, and blasting teams.
- Conduct daily inspections and minor maintenance.
- Maintain safe operation around personnel and utilities.

Qualifications
- 3+ years operating excavators in heavy civil.
- Experience with GPS machine control an asset.
- Class 8

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
