Position OverviewAs an engineering support role at Suncor’s Sarnia refinery, you will be accountable for ensuring the overall process integrity, safety, and cost‑effective operation of existing assets, supporting operations and maintenance.Salary and HoursSalary Range: $98,500 - $111,200. Hours: 40‑hour work week, Monday to Friday with potential extended hours.LocationWork location: Sarnia refinery, Ontario (1900 St.Clair Parkway).ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering calculations and simulations required to address process equipment or unit performance problems with a continuous improvement mindset.Oversee and/or participate in reviews of new projects or proposed changes to refinery equipment and procedures.Craft scoping studies and design basis memorandums outlining recommendations for improvement by applying applicable engineering standards.Calculate the economic justification for capital project options.Participate in hazard reviews for projects.Provide technical assistance to operations for specialized activities.Build positive relationships to coordinate special activities that assist operations,
