The Corporation of the City of Elliot Lake is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Licensed Electrician. Reporting directly to the Manager of Environmental Services, the primary purposed of the Electrician is to perform scheduled preventive electrical maintenance on plants equipment. Repair electrical problems both within Plants Department and other departments of the City, as coordinated by the Working Foreman Plants – Maintenance & Infrastructure. Maintain and / or upgrade current and new technology in process control systems to Ontario Code.What You Will Be DoingTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and hydraulic systems across facilitiesInstall new equipment and upgrade electrical services, power circuits, and control circuits as neededPerform preventive maintenance on motor control panels, soft starters, and other critical equipmentTest, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and electrical devices, including PLCs and control systemsDraw or update electrical diagrams and documentation for all changes madeCoordinate Hydro inspections, parts ordering,
