We are seeking an Experienced Part-Time Permanent Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team on Sundays. Hours are 9:45AM - 4:15PM. This position is for a brand new, state of the art dental office with an AMAZING Dental Team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and support. This role requires proficiency in various dental software systems including Tracker and a solid understanding of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Tracker
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with other dental professionals to optimize patient flow.
- Support orthodontic procedures by taking impressions and assisting with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tasks as needed.
- Handle light front desk administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and patient follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) is required.
- At least 2 years previous CDA experience in a dental office setting is essential.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Tracker is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
