Edge is a Grade 4 – 12 independent school with sport specific skill development in basketball, dance, flex, golf, hockey, multi-sport, soccer and volleyball. Edge School facilities include a multi-court gymnasium, fitness centre, two hockey arenas, dance studios, and an outdoor sports field.

We are currently recruiting for both permanent part time and full-time evening and weekend Facilities Operators to join our team at the Edge School located in Springbank, Alberta.

Responsibilities could include, but will not be limited to:

- Setup and clean-up before and after facility rentals (arenas, gymnasium, etc.).
- Periodic security walkthroughs of the facility.
- Ice maintenance and resurfacing.
- General repairs and maintenance.
- Refrigeration plant maintenance checks.
- Seasonal Landscaping.
- Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

- The ability to work independently.
- Experience in a fast-paced intensive role.




- Previous experience maintaining a multi-use facility would be an asset.
- Arena experience and certifications would be an asset.

The physical demands of this position are:

- Must be able to work on slippery surfaces frequently.
- Must be able to walk long distances on even and uneven surfaces continuously.
- Must be able to work in a variety of climates including extreme cold and warm weather.
