Job DescriptionThe Engagement Director plays a pivotal role in supporting client engagement strategy, driving execution excellence, and shaping innovative solutions that advance client objectives. Engagement Directors assume responsibility for understanding core scientific & medical communication strategy and projects, as well as all aspects of their assigned businesses. They serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to execute on medical/scientific communication strategy and initiatives.The Engagement Director will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage project execution to ensure processes are being followed and comply with client regulatory requirements. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered within budget, on time and on strategy, with attention to detail and flawless execution.What You'll DoLead development and execution of medical and scientific communication initiativesPartner closely with clients to understand business needs and identify strategic opportunitiesGuide cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in alignment with medical strategyEnsure all work meets regulatory requirements and high standards of scientific accuracyCollaborate on planning, presentations,



and workshops to support brand and medical objectivesQualificationsRequirements:8+ years’ experience in medical communications or healthcare communications/marketingPrior experience within a medical communications agencyStrong understanding of US pharma/healthcare regulationsProven ability to manage complex projects and client relationshipsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsDesired:Experience leading cross‑functional scientific communication teamsFamiliarity with medical strategy and competitive landscapesAbility to identify and apply innovative or digital approaches in medical communicationsExperience supporting conferences or onsite client meetingsComfort integrating AI tools into workflowsAdditional InformationThis posting is for a newly created role at Klick.The base salary range for this position is between CAD $125,000 - $140,000.
